Pumpkin Patch and Sickies

The sickies are going around and so far most of us have managed to stay pretty healthy. Camryn came down with a cold a few weeks ago that just wasn't going away so I caved and made her a doctor's appointment. I really like our doctor. I went there as a kid, my parents still go there and the kids have gone there since they were born. But, it's pretty much guaranteed that you will be there for at least two hours. Camryn ended up with a sinus infection and an ear infection, which is what I had suspected. So it's the pink bubblegum stuff for her for 10 days.

On Saturday, we decided to do the pumpkin patch. It feels like October has flown by and there are only a few weekends left! We headed to Blooms and Berries in Maineville. This was our second year going to this particular pumpkin patch. I really like it. It's not too crowded, there are activities and things for the kids, a huge slide, and of course the hayride and pumpkin patch. We all bundled up in winter coats, gloves and boots because it is unseasonably cold for October this year and is was insanely muddy.

On Sunday, Avery woke up with Pink Eye! Yay! I swear we just can't get a break. So far it's just one eye, but I'm sure it will spread. The last time one of the girls got pink eye (I don't remember who got it first), the three of us girls ended up with it. It's only a matter of time!
