Tonight will be day 20 of taking Lupron. I haven't noticed any side effects and doing that shot hasn't been a big deal at all. I went in on Tues (the 27th) for a blood draw to find out if I'm "down-regulated", which I think means that my estrogen levels are low. I got a call back from the nurse and she let me know that my levels were good and that IM was going in on January 3rd to check her estrogen levels as well to make sure she was also "down-regulated". Basically we are trying to sync our cycles up. I will start Estradiol (Estrogen) tablets on January 1st. Right now, the dosage will be half a tablet (1mg) in the morning and half in the evening as well as the 10 units of Lupron every evening. I have a nice little calendar pinned up so I know what and how much to take.
I cannot wait for 2012 and all that comes with it! I am looking forward to getting to know IP's even better and for them to become parents!
