I must have spoke too soon about not having any side effects from the meds because I have been waking up with a headache and then I get one again about 30 minutes after my Lupron shot. My estrogen dosage also increased yesterday so I am now up to 2mg twice a day. I have an appt on the 12th of January to do a lining check to make sure the lining of my uterus is getting nice and thick and ready for the embryos to be implanted.
IM started her Follistim injections last night. It's a hormone that controls ovulation, and the growth and development of eggs in the ovaries. We are still waiting to get dates finalized but we have some possible dates if things go as planned. Egg retrieval could be the 16th, 17th or 18th and the transfer the 18th-20th. We both have a few more appts to go to and I have a few more days until I have to start the PIO (Progesterone in oil) shots. I am on a search for a really good massaging heating pad to prevent lumps forming from the oil.
