On March 12, we went back to the RE for another ultrasound and another blood draw. They were checking my progesterone and estrogen levels to see if I could start cutting back on the medications. During the ultrasound we were able to see legs and arms and the heartrate was 162 bpm. I couldn't believe the difference in just a few weeks. We got the official due date of 10/10/12. And I was released to my regular OB. My first OB appt is Friday the 30th and we are hoping to head to the zoo after if the weather cooperates.
After the appointment I got the phone call that I could stop the shots! No more PIO shots! And my other meds were decreasing. I was to take the estrogen for another 14 days and then stop. The Prometrium capsules 3x a day for 1 week, then down to 2x a day for a week and then 1x a day for a week and then stop. Currently I am down to 1x a day, with my last dose on April 1.
And according to this ticker, Baby G is the size of a plum!
No more injections! Yahoo! Huge milestone! And the size of a plum?! That's big!! :-) Congratulations!
