I get up at 4:30 to get the girl I babysit for. Go back to sleep until 6. At 6am I get up and get ready to go because Camryn has her speech therapy at 7:45am in Mason. My mom comes over and watches Avery and Grace (the girl I babysit). We go to that and then swing back by our house to pick up Grace. Then we drop them both off at Preschool. This Tuesday was party day for Camryn's class. So I stayed to help with their Valentine Party. The kids are so cute! There are several stations set up with a craft project or a game, they go around to each station and have a snack at the end of the party. They also exchanged Valentines. Camryn gave out Tinker Bell Valentines. Tuesday afternoon I made some phone calls to some other speech therapists since I am thinking about switching Camryn, but that's a whole 'nother blog. Here are some pics from the party.
Wednesday, I decided that I had to decrapify the house. Do you ever start to feel anxious when there is clutter all around you? I do..and so I started cleaning and throwing away stuff. It's very therapeutic. You should try it. I decided to sell our bakers rack and listed it on Craigslist. I moved the kids art table into our kitchen area, so now they have a little art area. Wednesday afternoon I got out of the house for a much needed break. My friend Emily and I went to lunch at Kyoto. It's a sushi bar that is usually very good. I say usually because we had an issue. Brown mushy rotten avocado. After explaining to the waitress that it was bad and her trying to tell us it was sauce, she took it and they made us a new roll which was much better. We then went to Target (our favorite!) and on our way out got stuck in a downpour.
Today I am husbandless until tomorrow afternoon. Jesse left for a tool convention with his boss in Louisville this morning. It should be a pretty quiet day today. I need to catch up on my school stuff that I've been putting off and tonight I won't have to share the remote with anyone!

Sar! Its bloatedbuthappy from Dec02! I think you are my 'seperated at birth' twin sister! Ok, ok...so I'm a little older...whatever lol! We seem to have a lot of the same interests, including tattoos lol! I just decrapified the kids' room and the smaller playroom....FIVE LARGE BAGS OF CRAP I have to throw out or donate. FIVE!!! And I haven't even gotten to the big playroom! And it IS therapeutic! My kids probably disagree, but, eh...that's why I'm in charge!
ReplyDeleteI'm really enjoying your blog! Keep it up!
