Did I Miss Spring??

Did I sleep through Spring? Seriously, where is Spring!? I must have missed the memo that said that Ohio would skip right by Spring and onto Summer.

The last few days it's been in the upper 80s. But the week or so before that it was still chilly winter-coat weather. I finally took the plunge and put away our winter coats and packed away our winter clothes. See..Ohio is kinda tricky. We will have these teaser days where it gets warm and it makes you think that it's time to get out the shorts and tank tops. So I go out to our shed, look through all the bins that I meant to label when I put them in there last year, and find the hand-me down summer things for Camryn. Then I find Avery's clothes from last year to see what, if anything, still fits her. I wash, dry and fold everything and try to fit it in their drawers along with the winter stuff. It never fits. But I can't put away the winter clothing just yet. No, because it never fails. As soon as I get all these clothes out of storage it goes back to long-sleeve-shirt-sweater-jeans-winter-coat weather. And now it seems we have skipped those 60 and 70 degree Spring days and gone straight to 86 degree days. It really is a cruel joke, this Ohio weather.

So, like I said earlier, I packed all our winter things away and they are in bins waiting to go back outside. Still not labeled. I'll learn one of these days. I'm still sorta waiting, on the edge of my seat, wondering if these temperatures are here to stay.
