The other day I realized that the title of this blog might imply that I would write about tattoos alot. I haven't really done that much. I've talked about my
tattoos and added my pics. I love tattoos. I love talking about them, looking at them, hearing the stories behind them, planning out future tattoos, helping others decide about their tattoos and so on. I guess you could say I am officially obsessed with ink. I have an appointment in 3 days for another one, a quote across my back to go with my leaves. It's a long decision making process, deciding on a tattoo, at least for me it is. Some people like to walk into a tattoo shop and pick something from a book. For others, like me, it's a pretty drawn out process. You have to decide what you want, where it will go, the size, color or black ink. And if you are me, well then you will second guess yourself every second along the way, and eventually go back to your original idea anyways. My tattoos have some sort of meaning behind them, but I don't think all tattoos have to have a story behind them.
Usually I have 2 or 3 future tattoos planned out and I'm surprised to say that I don't right now. I think because my next one is going to be a pretty decent size and I'm in denial about the cost. But I've still been looking at pictures. There's a site called,
Check Out My Ink, where tattoo pictures can be posted. There is a search feature and a
profile option. I really like this site. I will add that there are some very inappropriate pictures on this site. The admins are in the process of adding a flag feature to try to get these pictures off the site. I apologize in advance if you do come across something that you didn't want to see. How's that for a disclaimer.
I think I will leave you with some pictures of tattoos that I really like either because they are original, beautiful, colorful, cute, or all of the above. After posting these pics, I see a definite bird theme. I really like hummingbird and peacock tattoos. I think because they are so colorful. Maybe something like that will be added to MY tattoo collection....
Yay! My tattoo made your blog! It looks like a lonely flower, though. I should have it added to... maybe... Saturday?
ReplyDeleteI'm really looking forward to it!! Why are tattoos so addictive?? I can't wait to see how your quote turns out. It is going to be beautiful!
