Good Reads

I've been reading a lot lately..nothing deep and philosophical or anything like that. Mostly light reads, young adult fiction. Books that are entertaining and easy enough to stay interested in when I have a few quiet minutes to myself. I love to read series and that probably started with Harry Potter. I've read the Twilight series, started the Pretty Little Liars Series and the Wolves of Mercy Falls. I just hate waiting for the next book to be available.

In my search to find a new series I came across GoodReads.com. I was looking for a site that would recommend books based on what I've already read. This site doesn't exactly do that, but it's like Facebook for readers. You can search for books and find reviews written by others and then see what other books they have read and liked. You can also add books to your "bookshelves". There is a read shelf, currently reading shelf and a to-read shelf. I haven't done too much with it besides searching for books, adding to my shelves and updating my progress of the book I am currently reading. I added a widget to my blog on the left that shows what book I am currently reading. I really like the site though and would recommend it if you are searching for something new to read.
