*Avery turned 8 on Dec. 4th and Jesse turned 29 on Dec. 5th. We had her party at Mad Potter. A pottery painting place. It was a lot of fun and I took a ton of pictures.
*I've been knitting a ton..mostly scarves and things, but I did start working on a hooded cowl for winter and I'm hoping I'll actually be done with it before Spring. I joined the site ravelry.com it's kind of like facebook for knitters. If you are on there or sign up then add me as a friend. My screen name is SaraB28. I don't have any pictures up of the things I've knitted yet. (stupid computer!)
* Dec. 18th, Aunt Samantha (my sister) came in from IL to stay for about 10 days. That night we went to Christmas in Loveland with her and Jesse's mom. We celebrated Christmas with his mom since she goes to CA for Christmas every year. I stole this picture from my sister's facebook.

* Christmas Eve we ordered in Chinese, went to Christmas Eve service at our church and then opened a few presents at our house. We always get the girls new pajamas for them to wear. Notice the Yule Log on the tv? Yes, I am that person that records the yule log on tv and plays it.
*Christmas Day, was filled with presents and food. The girls finally were able to open the big present that we got them. Not so much big in size but more like big in how much it was. We got them (us) a Wii with 3 extra controllers and a few games. We wanted something that we could all do together and I didn't want to buy toys this year since they have a lot and usually don't play with what they have. It's been a hit so far and since we told family and friends that we were getting a Wii, we've gotten some more games that have kept us busy. The favorite is still the bowling game on Wii Sports. They also each got a $10 iTunes card to use to get their own music but of course our computer died after I bought the cards so we can't use them yet. (again..stupid computer!)
*Dec. 27th, we headed to Columbus to visit our Uncle Joe. We stayed one night and let the kids swim at the hotel and just hung out. The next day we headed out for our yearly trip to Magic Mountain, which is as Jesse calls it, a generic Chuck E. Cheese. The kids have fun playing the games and it gets some energy out before the car ride home. Columbus is only about an hour and half from us, so it's not too long of a drive.
* New Years Eve was spent hanging out at home and doing nothing. I actually like it that way. Very low key and stress free.
That brings us to today, which is Monday and the end of Winter Break for the kids!! I am so looking forward to getting back to a routine and I know the kids are ready for some time apart.
I have some interesting and exciting things to share but I can't write about it yet. I'm thinking it will be in February when I can finally blog about it. I am going to try to blog more, so check back often!
